Taking care of fresh hydrangeas is essential for extending their vase life.
To ensure your cut hydrangeas stay vibrant, it is recommended to begin by cutting the stems at an angle and placing them in water immediately. Keeping the cut hydrangeas away from direct sunlight can also help preserve their freshness. Changing the water every few days, misting the petals daily, and occasionally dunking wilted blooms in cool water are effective strategies to maintain the hydrangeas' appearance.To keep hydrangeas from wilting, it is suggested to cut the stems again and replace the water with hot water once or twice a week if they start to droop. Hydrangeas prefer a full vase of water, so ensuring an adequate water level is crucial. Additionally, refreshing the water daily or every other day can contribute to prolonging the vase life of cut hydrangeas.

For example, a rose bouquet will generally be smaller in size compared to a seasonal bouquet of similar value, as roses are more expensive than other flower types.
Additionally, the ratio of flowers to leaves will also influence the overall size of the bouquet. A bouquet with more flowers and fewer leaves will have a smaller finished size, while a bouquet with more leaves and fewer flowers will appear larger.
